God TV’s REAL size relative to other Christian Broadcasters

December 8, 2006 · Leave a Comment

TBN is the biggest I think there are figures somewhere. Only stats will do not rhetoric or taking them at their word!

Daystar second

God Channel’s Budget is equivalent to Daystar Charity Budget. The way God TV gets on is create power-relations meaning viewers put up with shoddy repetitive programming, bad attitudes Chris Coles comment that ‘Church leaders should pick up the pieces’ [from their Ministry] betray their lack of concern for the real consequences of their ministry-which if they listened to the problems that folks brought them ie didn’t delete the emails as Not read-might enjoy higher statistics as collected from the Sattellite providers.

In UK God TV had 150.000 Revelation TV 130.000 (Howard shows relative figs on Revelation TV-one wonders why Christians are denied statistics that the secular unbelieving public take for granted in Nielson/Rajar- this I believe has changed. Revelation is kicking God TV’s arse and they don’t like it. If you look carefully you will notice that God tV is copying Revelation TV!!! RMusic viewership must be 300.000 most (Howard on World on Focus) and guess what God TV wants one too-a 24-7 365 music channel on the ‘non-religious’ Music section of the EPG. Chris Cole ended Cross Rhythms on Sky due to spiralling costs and now the net is the only way to listen ( I am thru with Cross Rhythms having seen their true agendas) so how are they gonna get a God tv equivalent of Rmusic given costs of £30.000 pcm.? At least Howard gives figures which help computation of figures involved and as you know dear Reader FACTS AND FIGURES COUNT or STATS AND FACTS !!

CHRIS COLE
Chris Cole is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Cross Rhythms. He was born in England, grew up in Canada, and returned to England for higher education. With a background in Marketing in Brussels and owner of a restaurant and nightclub, his first experience of radio was as a Programme controller on Brussels International radio in 1978. After a dramatic Christian conversion, he set up his own marketing business in Plymouth and, in 1983, broadcasting the “Cross Rhythms experience” on Plymouth Sound radio. In 1996 Cross Rhythms joined UCB and was officially launched in 1998, with a vision to reach the youth of this generation through contemporary Christian music and personal testimony. CRYSTAL CHAMKHI – CBC Conference Administrator
Crystal has been with Premier Christian Radio for the last 13 years, moving through different departments and job roles as a Career Administrator. She particularly loves to organise and use her creative skills as an Event Manager. With impending motherhood (first baby due mid-December!), Crystal is helping us organise the 2006 Conference hoping she will actually be able to attend!

ROBERT IRVING – Vice – Chairman of the Christian Broadcasting Council

Educated in Zanzibar and England, Rob was converted to Jesus Christ in Malaya in 1960, during national service in the British Army (2nd Lieut.). He was a director of Christian Broadcasting Corporation Ltd in the 1980’s. He seeks to promote the knowledge of the Christian faith, with the propagation of the Good News of Jesus Christ, through the media. He is presently an Anglican Reader. Rob was a Chartered Secretary and is now retired.

NORMAN POLDEN
Born in Hastings, England and becoming a Christian in his teens, Norman worked as a Chartered Engineer in telecommunications design and marketing. He also functioned as Treasurer in two churches. In 1989 he migrated with family from Bournemouth to Merseyside where “God led him” in 2000 to establish “Flame FM on Wirral”, broadcasting under RSL (seven to date). Having taken early retirement to manage Flame full-time, Norman is convinced of the power of Christian radio, under God’s miraculous hand.

She works free-lance as producer/presenter on Premier Radio and is Chairman of Just Connections Network, a new venture for interactive television via ASTRA satellite. God has truly blessed the ministry abundantly, we are very excited about what is happening and look forward to what is next”. Andrew is married to Johanna and they have four boys. They attend a local Anglican Church.

ROB ANDREWS – General Secretary
Rob is a solicitor specialising in commercial law. His practice, Blackbourn Andrews Solicitors (http://www.ba-law.co.uk/), is based in Shrewsbury, but has clients across the country. He acts for businesses, business people, churches and charities. ( I bet he is there for legal reasons)

Rob volunteered for the position after being encouraged by God to stand with Christian media organizations to support them in their ministries (in prayer and in business support issues). He is also a trustee of Cross Rhythms and is on the management committee of Day One Radio.

Living in Shropshire, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 young girls, and watching as much football as he is allowed to!”
